1950s Saucy Sheer Mesh Bust Negligée

A lil bit sweet and a lil bit sexy, this negligée is a mid-century dream come true. In the "Dreamer" style by Colura, this piece dates exactly to 1950 and I have included an original ad for it in the images. 

Made of buttery soft sheer nylon in apricot pink, according to the ad, the bust and waist on the front of the bodice are in an entirely see-through blush colored fine mesh. The back of the piece is lower cut than the front and is in the same sheer nylon as the skirt. The front of the bodice is also trimmed with flattering bands of ballet slipper colored satin ribbons at the bust, under-bust, and waist. The same ribbons made up the straps. There is a delicate ruffle of the same mesh used on the bodice trimming the top of the bust and the bottom hem.
