The perfect spring and fall weight jacket does exist! In grey wool with a peach fleck throughout, this jacket has a variety of stylish details, including medium sized shoulder pads. The collar is attractively notched, and is made from a solid charcoal colored wool. The pockets are in the same solid charcoal material, and are fabulously designed in the shape of diamonds. A double breasted silhouette, the jacket has six round buttons down the front with square centers, three of which are functional closures and three of which are decorative. Three scaled down versions of these buttons trim each cuff. The jacket's lining is a peach shade which perfectly matches the fleck. Based on the label, the wool for this jacket was treated with the milium process. According to Time Magazine in 1950, "By coating the underside of the fabric with an aluminum solution, the process makes a topcoat as warm as a winter coat, a sheet as warm as a heavy blanket."
